The headquarters of the Tamil Education Development Council is working hard to make Valartamil books.

The valartamil books are for children at the age of 4 and above. These books are from nursery,reception, valar tamil 1 and continue step by step all the way to valar tamil 12. Reading and writing books are included.

Textbooks are used as a tool to teach. Valartamil textbooks are in line with the curriculum of the country the students/teachers live in. Through this course, the Tamil Education Development Council has facilitated Tamil students to learn not only the language but also the artistic and cultural values ​​of the Tamil. This is a way for the students to learn about the values.

Not only this the valartamil textbooks, but children’s writing ability has also been increasing as Tamil education development council has produced visible books. At the beginning of the book the pure tamil words of the objects are introduced with the help of pictures. It has been set up to facilitate the writing process up to Valartamil 4 by gradually and easily moving the basic grammar which includes the use of adjectives and the department, gender, number, place, and time in the sequence to make it easier to know the names and their actions (noun, verb). The Tamil Education Development Council has compiled three volumes of reading books with algorithmic development to suit the class level with the aim of developing reading as a component of the language among the students. Valartamil 1-5,Valarthamil 6-8 Valarthamil 9-11,These three volumes of books have been produced.

These books are made of linguistics. The grades start at nursery and go up step by step according to their age. Valarthamil textbooks with up to 12 valartamil books includes beautiful books such as :writing books, reading books, visible books, speaking books, grammar learning resource books, dictionary.

In addition, the Tamil education department centre Headquarters has designed the textbooks for the two consecutive year syllabus of Valarthamil 12 so that the students who have completed Valarthamil 12 will not stop learning Tamil and travel on the same path. (7 books for the first year and 7 books for the second year.)

It is also noteworthy that those who have migrated and are working as teachers here are taking advantage of this curriculum as they are unable to pursue their higher education amidst many dangers at home.

Also, in order to improve the speaking skills of the students and to further develop the knowledge of the mother tongue, the Valarthamil speaking guide for the students learning Tamil 3,4,5 has been designed with the words and colour pictures in a class appropriate manner.
